Work modules 1 - 10 will identify, adapt, refine and test a wide range of relevant methodologies and tools of analysis with potential for improving our understanding of sustainable logistics. The purposes of Work Module 11 are to determine the most appropriate methodologies and tools for a range of research purposes and how best to integrate them to produce a much more holistic and integrated toolkit for use in future research. The work will focus on the degree of consistency between the different methodologies and on building interfaces between them, for example such that the outputs from the use of one tool can be used as the inputs into a further stage of analysis. Attention will be paid to data requirements and appropriate data formats in order to achieve these objectives. This is a challenging Work Module but one that offers very significant benefits in terms of delivering strong integrated methodologies that will increase the robustness to future research programmes.
