The Committee on Climate Change - Building a low-carbon economy
The CCC's Inaugural report Building a low-carbon economy - the UK's contribution to tackling climate change was published on 1st December 2008. The report can be downloaded by clicking on the following link: http://www.theccc.org.uk/reports/.
While preparing the report, the CCC commissioned research from a number of consultants to inform its advice on carbon budgets and targets. Consultants' reports are listed on the CCC website and can be accessed by clicking here. Chapter 7 focuses on reduction of carbon emissions from domestic transport activity.
