NEW REPORT: The effects of congestion on vehicle routing and scheduling
This report presents a case study of deliveries for an electrical wholesaler in the South West of Britain. Methods are presented which take into account how travel times can vary at different times of day when making routing and scheduling decisions. Such approaches lead to more robust schedules and reduces CO2 impact in comparison with standard approaches.
