Supply Chain, Energy and CO2: Research Day in Paris
Green Logistics consortium members were part of the colloquium on
'Supply Chain, Energy and CO2' organised at INRETS in Paris (Noisy),
France on 11 Feb 2009, on the occasion of a new report publication.
Objective of this day was to compare the results of the Green Logistics
project outcomes with other European research, survey and case study .
Main topic was to assess the carbon footprint, specially related to logistics and transport energy use and emissions, in the supply chains of different
products.
The documents of this Research Day are contributing to the actual discussion on carbon footprint in the supply chain and the labelling of products, mainly by adding new values on maritime freight, consumer shopping trip and e-commerce.
The French presentations from Michael Browne, Julia Edwards, Sharon Cullinane and Jacques Leonardi, and main documents and reports in English, are available online for free download.
